PRIMARY ELECTION IS MAY 20

It’s easy to overlook primary elections, but they play a crucial role in shaping our local government. This is when we decide which candidates best represent our Democratic values on the ballot in November. Waiting until the general election means leaving that decision to a small fraction of voters. 

 In our Borough, local leadership directly impacts our day-to-day lives—public safety, parks, infrastructure, and responsible use of tax dollars. Low turnout in the primary can result in candidates advancing who do not govern with the transparency, accountability, and community-first approach we expect. 

 By voting in the primary, you ensure that our endorsed Democratic candidates—leaders who are committed to good governance, responsible spending, and public engagement—have the opportunity to serve and represent our values.
