Our Morrisville

Progress • Accountability • Leadership that Listens

  • Shawn J. Ratti

    1st Ward Council

A resident of Morrisville for over 10 years, Shawn is a proud alumnus of our schools and contributor to various community events. Shawn and his wife returned to Morrisville to work as teachers in our school district, helping to inspire and shape the futures of our students in the elementary and high schools, because they believe there is something special about this place.

“From years of working on Winterfest and parades, to 21st Century and Mega Sports Camp for kids in the summer, I believe a town like ours thrives on community work, collective input and contributions, and projects oriented on improving our fantastic home for the betterment of our citizens. Only together can we work to improve things for everyone and show Pennsylvania what makes Morrisville a unique place to call home”.

  • Peggy Walsh

    3rd Ward Council
    (2 Year Seat)

Peggy Walsh and her husband have lived in Morrisville for 42 years.  She currently serves on the Planning Commission and has been the Third Ward Committee Person for the last three years.

“I am running to ensure that our town maintains the qualities and features that will attract more young families and businesses and will support its senior citizens.  I will fight to have our tax dollars spent wisely and transparently.  I promise to be responsive to my constituents in the third ward. I will treat all citizens with respect, especially those who might challenge me because I believe that respect for a diversity of opinion is a strength, not a weakness.”

  • Deborah Colgan

    3rd Ward Council

  • Kathryn Price Engelhard

    School Board

I am honored to serve as a First Ward Council Members, working to bring people together and strengthen our Morrisville community. From improving our parks to supporting local business and advocacy for residents. I have always been committed to putting our Borough first.

My transition into public service was an easy one as I came from nearly 40 years of running nonprofit organizations such as the American Red Cross, Junior Achievement, March of Dimes, and a small international organization called DoPeace. This is where I learned about budgets, financial responsibility, and recognizing community wants and needs.  I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Morrisville Senior Center and spent 2 years on the Youth Collation to help inspiring our young people in Morrisville.

My journey as your First Ward Council-woman I began as the Chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee, where I have continued to lead projects that not only beautified our town but foster a sense of community – like the murals on the Pool snack shack and the clean-up of Williamson Park. I have also been a strong advocate for our local business, growing the Morrisville Restaurant Facebook page which average over 1000 views a month.

Beyond these community projects I have taken an active role in Borough governance. As a member of the Finance Committee and other key committees, I have gained the experience needed to navigate complex issues, ensuring that our borough’s budget and resources are used wisely. But over this past year under the current leadership, it has become difficulty to be apprised of how our local tax payer's money is being spent.

I believe in the power of community engagement. I hosted two Town Hall meetings to address our truck traffic on Pennsylvania Avenue, and Williamson Park. I have called to action public meetings concerning Patriot’s Park and Cloverleaf. You have the right to be heard!

I hope that you continue to support me and vote for me Kathryn Price Engelhard. We need leadership who really cares about Morrisville and the good people who reside here.
