In this episode of Your Voice: Our Morrisville, host Amy is joined by Council members Anna Langer, Shawn Ratti, and Peggy Walsh to recap the July Borough Council meeting and discuss the issues affecting Morrisville.

The conversation begins with encouraging news about the Morrisville Library, including recent interviews for a new Library Director and the hope of filling the position before the September 1 deadline to preserve state funding.

The Council members also discuss efforts to create zoning protections for data centers, why Morrisville needs to be proactive, and the importance of including residents in the process.

Another major topic is Borough finances and transparency. After months of requesting information about Borough accounts, investments, and debt, Council members finally received a bank statement showing more than $10 million in the general fund. They explain why one month's statement isn't enough to understand the Borough's complete financial picture.
