Why Your Vote Matters in the Primary

Why the Primary Matters

Many people think the real election happens in November, but in reality, the primary is where critical decisions are made.  This is our chance to determine which candidates best represent our values and priorities.  If we wait until the general election, we may be left choosing between candidates who don’t fully align with the issues that matter most to us.

Local elections have a direct impact on our daily lives. Decisions about public safety, parks, infrastructure, and fiscal responsibility all start at the local level.  When voter turnout is low, we risk losing the opportunity to shape our community’s future.  Your vote in the primary ensures we have strong Democratic leadership ready to advocate for transparent government, responsible budgeting, and meaningful public engagement.

Make sure your voice is heard—vote in the primary and encourage your neighbors to do the same.
